ISL YEAR BOOK
2005/2006
Mr.Dardoufas
The summer holidays are at our door. I
hope all of you have a wonderful time
with your families and friends. Try to
consolidate what you have learnt this
year. Also give a bit of thought about
your achievements and failures this past
school year and learn from your
mistakes and rejoice for your successes.
Above all, though, have fun and enjoy
yourselves. After all you are young only
once in your lifetime!
Some of you we will see again next
school year and we are looking forward
to that. The ones we will not see
because of relocation or other reasons, I
wish them the best of luck for the future.
God bless you all!
Costi
Dardoufas
Director
I have so much to say but of course how much can
I say! My position at ISL is the best. I believe my
office is the heart of the school. Everything and
everyone comes through here. All problems, big
and small, lots of laughter, hugs and kisses for the
little incidents that happen in recess, assistance
for teachers –
whatever is needed. I feel more like
a mum than the school administrator and that goes
for a quite a few of the teachers too!
I feel very blessed being at ISL. I don’t love my
job, I adore it. I adore being with the children,
my colleagues and talking to parents and actually
just being on this campus.
Nevertheless, I do feel very sad knowing that
many students will have to leave and return to
their home countries or even be posted to another
country but you all know where to find me and my
email. Also, I look forward with enthusiasm to
meeting the new students that will come next year
and getting to know them and being part of their
lives.
I wish you all the best wherever you may be and I
hope that you will always remember your time at
ISL with affection and fond memories.

A successful academic year requires a
great deal of commitment, cooperation
and communication. 2005-2006 has
been a successful year, thanks to the
efforts of the faculty, staff, parents
and students. Everyone has done their
part beautifully. It has been a pleasure
to work with such a caring group of
people.
As we look ahead to the summer
holiday, we cannot help but to think
about the families that will be leaving
us. Good fortune be with you in your
travels, we at ISL will not forget what
you have given to us.

you toss her over your left shoulder
Let me show you what I learned in
school today mom,  This may hurt a
little.
Sports day is about to begin, the
audience members have taken
their place, and the athletes have
just entered the track
The competition has begun
Balls,
Balloons,
Brooms,
It was a

There was supposed to be a
comment here, But since I
can’t think of what to say, I
decided to just leave it as a
white area,  just plain empty
space.  (The final frontier)
As the day got warmer, we started
playing outside.
Is it Soccer
or Football?
My most memorable moment was when superman flew
over our school on sports day
The softball game started shortly after the
words, “I can beat you with my eyes
closed”
were heard coming from the
athletes.
As the game progressed, the players decided to open their eyes.
It was very exciting.  We laughed and played. Everyone was a winner that day.
The best part of the day
is the food.
They plant trees
They watered the trees
They look after the trees
The trees are beautiful.
